Contracts
What you need to know
We organized our union in 2002 and signed off on our first contract in July 2003. We continue to have one of the strongest contracts in the nation protecting patient safety, and providing a solid foundation for the recognition and improvement of workplace issues.
Since 2003 we have organized around three more successful contracts that continue to preserve our rights as union nurses and patient advocates, each building on the successes of the last and addressing new concerns as they arise in a field that is constantly advancing and evolving.

The Technical Professionals of FAHC organized and voted to join the VT Federation of Nurses & Health Professionals in 2009. There are now over 300 Technical Professionals in our union whose contracts reflect the hard work and perseverance of all of us.
